I thought i would just comment on the issues i have with my setup. I have MP on a laptop and using a large CRT monitor for the output.

There seems to be some problem with brightness / contrast level while using VMR9. The brightness / gamma level is too high...
When testing also look for starting a card for the first time (can be helped by preloading card) and also when switching card to see where the delays are.
Also remember that if a channel is on the same MUX as the previous one then there is no tuning to be done just switching stream.

Thats just windows itself messing around with the sound. Volume controle etc. on a bit-perfect signal is not possible. So you have to change the volume by receiver only. I use WMPlayer (from ASIO plugin section) to play DTS/AC3 files @44.1+48khz bitperfect . It does this wonderfully. Thanks to symphy :)
