The Sony 50W829 comes in at the same price with similar specs, but you get a whole extra 2" of screen. The reviews for it are outstanding as well.

This is a good idea, I may look into it soon. So far, this board has played back HD content so smoothly that I haven't even thought about it. Problem was, that the image was in the left side of screen with the rest blacked out... Same thing was seen in the small preview box in the menu...
