I am interested in getting a AV receiver to drive my sound from my HTPC to my speakers, however I really don't want to have to control it via an IR blaster from the HTPC. This, in my hands, is really slow and subject to failures (IR signal isn't just right, cat moves the blaster, dust leads to poor signal etc.)...
