I've been looking at this card for a HTPC. The PVR550 seems to work, even though the remote is not native. As far as I can tell, the cards are identical.
Can anyone offer advice? If the chipset is the same & the cards are essentially the same, will it work, or does Media Portal have to be specifically configured for each type?

The original DFI nf4 chipset cooler sucks. I changed that bastard a year ago and my ears are happier than ever.
The HR-05 is a very nice chipset cooler, but it can be really hard to mount with a bigger gfx card. I had to bend mine quiet a bit in order to get it done. :D
