I know there is the sleepcontrol plugin, but am I the only one that thinks this should be an integral part of MP with proper OSD for cycling through the timer etc? Maybe it could be additional functionality of the new powerscheduler? Or maybe I am talking stupid :)

a) tells the scan not to import a channel with a channel name that already exists
or - a more desireable option
b) an option to not place a (1), or (2) or (3) etc beside the channel name if duplicate channel names are found.

This plugin allows you to change channels using an EXE or CMD/BAT. A separate command can be set for each of your TV cards.
I whipped this up a few weeks ago, but never got around to fully testing this. So I hope I can leave that up to the community ;)
If any problems are found, do report them, I'll try to fix things ASAP...

I agree with moment. I use myRadio to listen to Internet Radio. The stations have long URLs, like theses two:

Mediaportal doesn't record as well as the ATI Tv recorder application. Probably because my ATI TV Wonder Pro card has hardware divx encoding that is only configured through their program.

The function to gather albuminfo and coverart inside MP works great except for one thing. If the spaces in the information (foldername, albumname, artistname and so on) are underscores _ instead of regular spaces MP never finds anything.
