It would be great if the ability to group the analog and digital parts of hybrid cards that exist in TVE3 could be incorporated also in TVE2 as part of the final 0.2.3.0 release, since that will be the last version using TVE2.

I see. Well I agree with all the comments posted by the non-developers on this issue. Anyone who does press Stop accidentally and looses the buffer of a show he was time shifting, will not likely do it again!

To be consistent with watching recorded TV, videos, music, etc, I suggest the Stop function stops TV when in full screen mode...
One thing I liked about the MCE2005 frontend was the system tray icon which showed when TV recording(s) were active & being able to cancel them without having to go into the programme to stop them. Having to enter MP>MyTV>Schedules & click on the active stream you wish, then click 'stop recording' is pretty convoluted.

But now: for recorded tv, would it be possible / is it in project to be able to compress in h.264/mp4 ?
I think the quality is much better than all divx/xvid and so on.

I think the guys have been trying to do this, but the problem is that sometimes the tvguide data does not have enough details to distinguish between different episodes.

I'm going to guess that it isn't possible.
As TVEngine 2 relies on the Microsoft recording engine, i boubt there would be a way round it to enable multiple channel recording from a single MUX.
Even if it was possible, in the long run it would benefit far more people (i.e. everyone) if the resources needed to code it were used to...

Just an idea. How about feature that enables to scan channels and/or at least manually
add new feed from MP gui. I'm wathing for example F1incinema feed in thor, and it's
guite a work to get it to work in MP. And because it changes in every transmission,
