Sadly it seems like this is not a solution.
I got ffdshow to run when playing mp3's I set it up for stereo in the mixer, But even when the mixer is set up for 2.0 the sound card STILL mixes it up. So i have given up.
The ONLY program i can get to play only stereo is winamp and switching of "allow hardware acceleration"

A bit dumb perhaps, i had to turn my sub on on my reveiver which i already done that ( i thought) . Turns out i had to acknowledge each speaker setup , after when i've done that my sub went on .
