I can confirm your findings, lets see if anything improves with RC2, but I fear this may just be a limitation of MP1's directx useage, so has always existed to some extent with resizing video.

It takes 15 seconds to start the playback of a channel, and it takes 5 seconds to stop livetv...

Thanks Jaymode for the link - I knew us ATSC users in the United States would all be experiencing the same issue. It sems to be a Win7 issue that M$ created more than a hardware or WinXP OS issue. I'll post on the other thread for more on this.
