I don't understand why I can't see which channels will be recorded in the scheduler / timer?!?
Only when I go in settings I can see the correct channel.
So the only thing I see is the name of the program that will be recorded.

My LCD-TV doesn't have a 720 line mode, so I'm not sure if forcing 720p50 is a good idea.
Since I had only installed the driver, I took advantage of the situation by installing the complete Catalyst suite 8.9.
I have also updated to MP 1.0 RC3. I am starting as close to the default settings and only changing them step by step.

is the best place to look, remember for this to work, you need mediaportal running (unless using TVServer, which as you have posted in the TVE2 forum unlikely) and left in home screen idle.

Iirc, the crop settings are tuner-specific. With that in mind, it should be possible to use multiple tuners to handle the SD / HD channels. With a tuner dedicated to the HD channels, it should be possible to crop those independently of the SD channels. Keep in mind that the ABC HD feed is only 720 though.

I think there's a list of the specs of both cards on the leadtek site. From what I remember, there werent any massively significant differences. I use the S, and have no real problems with it. Sometimes MP TV Engine 0.2 seems to have a problem where it says the card is in use, although it isnt, but a restart of MP fixes that...
