Argus has a rest API that allows XBMC to set & follow watched point markers. I don't think MP TV Server has that for XBMC (yet?). However, you can't look at XBMC as full featured for PVR use as it's limited to the features of the poorest TV server it supports (I think that's TV Headend - don't bother looking at that).
I used to get...

I have been trawling through the forums trying to...
You can stream TV to smart TV's fairly easily using Servio. It worked on our Sony and Samsung smart TV's, but it meant that you could only set up a single channel to stream and you had to change channel via the PC running Servio...

This got me wondering...
With Microsoft opening up the Xbox to 3rd party developers through universal apps, are there any chances we'll see a MP-app? Perhaps as a client for MP2?

Wow Dude. YEARS later and no-one thanked you.
I do not know how you came upon this but it still works.
I wanted a way to stop any audio currently playing on brave browser and launch a playlist.
1. Target Brave Window
2. Send your command with 851968 as the value key (APPCOMMAND_MEDIA_STOP 13 x 65536), and it works perfectly.

Hi Lloydsmart - so, almost a year on, what was your decision in the end? I am very happy with MP, but I am also wondering about the leap into Linux based computing, only because I want to experiment with a system with multiple clients on it, and I don't want the expense of lots of XP or W7 licenses. I am also looking for the least...

Thanks for the advice.
I'm torn between AVI and H264 because, as you say, the former only uses 50% of my CPU so MP remains usable, whilst the latter uses as much of my CPU as it can, which makes MP rather unusable, but H264 does give noticeably better quality for the same file size. It would be nice if it were possible to specify...

I must say I feel very stupid, but I resolved the issue.
I have rebuilt my HTPC 7 times now to try and get it right, plus an upgrade of CPU, MOBO, RAM and OS.
I have MP v1.1.0 RC1 running perfectly on my system (tv server not configured yet).
BUT
I have spent the last hours trying to work out why DVD's played back with...

Quality settings are under the delivery tab and the remote tab (content delivery).
Servioo doesn't launch more than 1x ffmpeg process if I launch sequential files. It does keep the last process going (according to a search of the forums this is by design, not a 'bug'), I assume it's so that you can easily resume and might also help...

I need to do something like this. Currently I have a Cronjob running, which turns on cam hourly in the nighttime. Thats good enough for me.
And I have another cronjob, that turns the cam off in the morning. But thats not really good. For example: when we are in vacation, I want the cam to stay activated. Is there a way to do this in...

I know this isn't a helpful answer, but after pursuing this for a while myself, I just decided not to bother.
Hard drive are coming down so fast that it just doesn't seem worth compressing TV Recordings.

Just wanted to clarify this, or perhaps muddy the waters further, but I cannot be sure if I ever ran my AVR with Win 7. Before I bought the AVR I had the HTPCs audio line out connected to an old stereo amp and I got the AVR in Nov. 2015. The Win 7-10 free upgrade was available from the Summer of 2015 and I know I did not switch the...

Hi Sadly the old system specs where not re-imported into xenforo, so you need to go to your profile at the top of the page and select system specs and refill them out, bound to have changed if a long time user anyway ;)
