Seems to be mostly with videos that are xvid that I get a poorer picture quality. Almost as if sometimes there is an over saturation of the picture. Hard to explain but it's like you see waves of colour over someone's dark black jacket (green or purple) or blotches on a person's skin (as if over saturated). I have SAF installed but I...

To get an RGB picture on your TV you need :- (1) A video card that supports Interlaced output (2) A Composite Sync signal (3) Powerstrip Cards like the Radeon allow you to switch on Interlacing and switch on Composite Sync. Hi all, As part of my MediaPortal setup, I have a couple of tray apps that I wanted to run. They are related to the remote control for my TV card (Leadtek), but I was having some issues with them - they needed to start in a particular order for everything to work hunky-dory. So, I just knocked up a little .Net utility that can...

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll have to do a bit of work then! Of course the other option is to have a mini PC connected to the TV and use MP2 on that instead of via Kodi. Something for the future perhaps.

MP1 MP2 USBUIRT and Girder DE
Am I correct in believing that using Girder with the USBUIRT I do not need to select the MP option to use USBUIRT for input to MP? That in fact Girder and USBUIRT will work together independently of MP and that properly configured Girder will map USBUIRT IP inputs to MP keyboard commands. I have an old Handspring Visor PDA and am...

I bought some self powered USB extenders for our village webcam. I got them off eBay - sort of have a built in hub (I think) very similar to this here. By using one of these along with a standard USB extension lead I managed to get the webcam working OK on a 20m lead. It is a cheap Logitech webcam only working at 640x420, and running...

I came across a USA weather service (WX.com - powered by meteorlogix) that doesn't seem to mind (so far) that we take the current weather graphic for most (as far as I know) cities in USA - just use your zipcode. If you want stability i would not recommend installing a newly developed operating system. WinXP might not be your friend, but after two service packs i would suspect its more stable than Vista (at least for now). Additionally, there is no real benefit in the 64-bit platforms right now, the software simply isnt there. In some cases...
