Don't got for a Matrox card if you wanna use Media Portal with it. Media Portal is a DirectX 9 application and uses die Direct3D part, which is very poorly supported by Matrox. You won't be happy when using it with such kind of applications.
I'd always go for a decent nVidia card, other ATI fans would tell you, go for a good ATI...

Concrats to you too.
I became aware of PD's promotion in another thread. If I congrats him here, I might be ass-kicked for double posting :D
Come to think of it - even there I might be ass-kicked for being off-topic

Hi,
You should look for emulators, there is some really good games to play with split screen. Mine htpc has Playstation and n64 emulators installed and two wireless gamepads.
Crash team racing for example has been really good.

I'm not even sure the server admin will want to allow the link ... It's just that dicey.
Until he has a chance to decide I thought I should at least censor the post and let you know why.
Thanks for understanding.
Cheers,

Thank you.
This means that rather sorting ascended (a-z or 1-9 etc.) descending would sort z-a, and 9-1?
I can off course se the use for this when sorting by rating, otherwise I can't see the use of this.
Thank you.

Just stumbled upon instructions on how to activate the service menu on Sony TV sets (google your model number and 'service menu' to find the exact sequence for your TV). Entered service mode and got full control over my geometry, I now have borderless 720x576 on a CRT, no overscan and text is clear as day. Guess that's one...

Thanks for your fast reply and clear explanation Tony.
The ATI panels shows that a Sony is connected and resolutions up to 1920x1080.
I think that de T43 does not output anything then on the DVI when a higher res is selected.
That makes clear why the screen stays black, however the X300 chip can output 1920x1080???
So, for...

Why do most people with loads of cash to drop on a home cinema have absolutely no taste or style of any kind?

Would recommend installing all of it, make sure it's working fine in its own application, then install MediaPortal.
If it will not work ok in its own application, then it sure as H*** will not work with MP.

Hey all,
