AW: New Website Design
as already said, it's a bit too much grey in it. but if you change the background of the header to white (imho you could even leave the buttons in the headermenu grey), it would look very good.

It opened in Ie but scrolled intermittantly. Page loading is extreamly slow, maybe my connection, but I'm on 1 meg, so wouldn't have thought so.

We have planed to move to an entire new theme for our forum and homepage.
So banners designed for the current theme will mostlikely not work in the new one.
But we would be very happy to have some helping hands from an skilled graphic artist.
So if someone is interested then please send me or high a pm in the forums.
Would be nice if...

Linear and Hybrid mode working like a charm here.
But with Threaded Mode i get the same error message.
the reason for this issue is the style (skin) we are using here. the skin was not developed for vb 3.6.0. the new version should be released during the next weeks.
:thx: for testing and reporting.

No offence taken here either. one day I will pull the finger out and tell work that I have a personal life and this is a task on my list ot update since it has not been done for ages. It is a shame the dev's of these skins can't update them as a task of release onto the MP website/forum but, what we have is what we have...

I have noticed, that I can't upload big files to my wiki page (wiki -> 'my page') anymore - seems like a restriction around 2MB. Would be nice, if we could reenable upload of bigger files, as I usually post there test versions and there is several ppl registered for posts on that page :)

We just upgraded our forum-software to the latest version. Please let us know if you spot a problem. Thanks!
My task was much easier than expected: just add the mptagthat to https://issues.team-mediaportal.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa and we ha almost done. yes I could ask for something differnt and closer to the old one, but with the dashboard link you can access to kPI of the projects faster than before and dig it from there, so...

You might be surprised. Both the Moving Pictures bug tracker and the MPTV-Series bug tracker are open to the public and they work very well. Other open source products like Firefox and Thunderbird have open bug trackers. The Linux Kernel has an open tracker as well as Ubuntu and Debian. Keeping an open bug tracker is a system that has...

I hope that this will not affect the development of the skins for MediaPortal because the "Graphics / Skins Development" is on the very bottom of the frontpage. I have 1280x1024 here and had to do a lot of scrolling to find this subforum...

Ye, must be a markup issue I think that there is a "-" in Media-Portal. Hope that people will find this out. If not, there is always the CD ;)
That's right. Many magazines these last months have stories about silent barebones for HTPC, the best TV cards (CHIP, Sep issue) for HTPC and the coolest Media Center software 8)
