Hi Deda. Sad to see that haven't incorporated your patch in 1.2.0 RC. I just updated and my icons disappeared again so i've gone back to 1.2.0 Beta and your patched dll. Any chance you can do patched dll for 1.2.0 RC?
Sorry Chris, i apologize for not making myself clear. :sorry:
Deda, thanks again for looking into this, i'll keep my fingers crossed and hope that this can be incorporated into a future release.
Thanks again to all you guys for all the work you put in to MediaPortal.
There was no point in posting logs because it's not a hardware issue. It doesn't matter which way you point to the network shares it still will only display the default icon. This problem only occurs with the initial location on the network drive that the video plugin is pointed to, sub...
Hi Harley, i may be being a bit thick here but how do you install this version of Fidelity, there doesn't appear to be a mpe1 file?
Ignore that last post, it was Internet Explorer 8 insisting on downloading the skin as a zip file! :sorry:
Awesome! Many thanks Harley :thx:
Great, thanks for replying. I love MediaPortal and have been using it for years. This is only a minor problem but it is annoying if, like me, you have a lot of network shares. Any solution would be greatly appreciated.:thx:
Hi, yes. I never had a problem with network performance issues before when it used to work. Also why is it just for the Video Plugin, the Music & Pictures plugins show the thumbs for initial shares on network drives no problem?
Looks like MediaPortal 1.2.0 Beta still has the same fault with the video plugin that 1.1.3 had, that it is it won't recognize folder.jpg or folder.png files on network hard drives. I was hoping that the new release would have fixed that as it's been a problem with MediaPortal for a long time.
Re: Upcomming Version 1.2 of Fidelity Skin New Screenshots 10.1.2011
Hi Harley, first i just wanted say that Fidelity is Awesome!
Next a quick question, do you have any idea why the standard Videos Plugin won't show folder.jpg on network attached drives when you click through to it's first...
This has been a problem with MediaPortal for a while, it won't recognise folder.jpg in the root directory of a network drive. Several posters have pointed this out before but it's never been fixed. If you have several NAS drives it's quite annoying. It's a shame because otherwise it's a great...
Since upgrading to Mediaportal 1.0.1 the thumbnail for my shared network drives has changed to the default file (defaultNetwork.png) where as before it was always whatever folder.jpg was in the root directory of the drive. I'm using the latest Xface skin. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
