Most people here use the PowerScheduler plugin in TV-Server Configuration to run the .bat file.
Maybe you can try putting zap2xml in another location? Maybe C:\zap2xml and see if that helps?
I'm currently using a 3rd party program to run the .bat file for me. It's called KM Wakeup. It works...
I'm using 1.2 version on a Samsung Galaxy S4 running Android 4.4.2.
Playback using the internal player does not work. Playback starts for a brief second and then returns to the previous screen.
Playback using MX Player seems to work fine. Let me know how to collect the logs so I can provide them.
The last couple of betas have not been working for me. I uninstalled and reinstalled both MpExtended and MPTVscheduler. If I select MX Player for playback. As soon as I hit play the app crashes. If use the internal player. Playback starts for a brief second then goes back to the previous screen...
This profile should work with MpTV Scheduler. It only transcodes the audio. The only issue is that you can not skip when watching Recorded TV.
Which brings me to another Feature request. Option to have 2 Streaming profiles. One for Recorded TV and one for Live TV. That way we can use this one...
Los Angeles, California market:
Unvision is listed as 34.1 KMEX-DT
Unimas is listed as 46.1 KFTRDT
PBS is listed as 50.1 KOCEDT
CW is listed as 5.1 KTLA
FOX is listed as 11.1 KTTV
when using Zap2it's TV guide option.
Sometimes it's obvious but most of the time it isn't. You can try http://www.rabbitears.info/market.php
Just select your market (phoenix, arizona), then click on any of the channels which should tell you which is which. . .
I'm currently using zap2xml for my tvguide.xml. The issue i'm having is that even though Mediaportal is displaying the EPG correctly. It's not displaying the team matchups in the descriptions even thought the information is present in the xml file:
I'm recording a series called 60 Minutes *
It comes out every Sunday at 7pm. For some reason Mediaportal has skipped recording this series for the last couple of months. Even though it is scheduled and I checked at 6:59pm. As soon as it hit 7.00pm Mediaportal did not record it.
I've tried it using Titan, Default Wide, and MayaHD which I have installed on one of my clients. The last time I had it working I was using a modified TVPlugin.dll.
Here are a couple of threads from last year and 2 years ago...
I updated grabber scripts and internal grabbers. I also made sure that "c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Titan\DialogVideoInfo.xml" was present which it is. But still nothing. This is also a clean install of Mediaportal. So no modifications have been made.
Open Mediaportal> TV Guide> Highlight a Movie> Right Click> IMDB> Select the Movie
After this you get the Querying screen then the Downloading information screen. It seems to finish
downloading but after this nothing ever appears.
IMDB if I remember correctly has been broken since version 1.4.
I decided to check Windows Update to see if there was an update for my Nvidia card. There was so I updated it and all seems to be working now.
The weird thing is that this same client pc had been working fine with that very card and drivers before I updated to 1.12. Since I was having some...
TV Playback works fine on my tv server.
Client is another story. I go to the client pc. Select a channel from the TV Guide. Click Enter and Mediaportal crashes.I decided to reboot the client pc to see if that would fix it and it did. Hope this helps someone else. ;)
Actually you can get EPG data from ATSC using a program called EPG Collector. The problem is that you have to run it more then a few times a day because some channels only provide a few hours of data. Some like CBS if I remember correctly provide around 24 hours of data. But very few channels do...
Don't know if this is of any help. But when I reinstalled Mediaportal version 1.9 along with Comskip Monitored I couldn't get the latest version of comskip working either (didn't try the "After recording finishes trick"). I decided to revert back to an older version (comskip 0.81.069) and it's...
In my humble opinion the Warning that pops up when you click on the clean up option should come after you select one of the options. In my personal experience the first time I clicked on clean up I went no further since I was afraid it would delete all of my recordings. Only after doing some...
It's even stranger this time. Rovi sometimes spells the same show differently. Even on the same channel. Sometimes they replace a capital letter with a lowercase letter. Which means series recordings are missed. Only fix is the make 2 seperate series recordings.
Here is an example:
I can confirm that the mc2xml donator's version is working using Legacy (zap2it) and the regular (Rovi) data. Looks like for know Legacy is the way to go. Too many small changes in the naming of shows using Rovi data which result in missed recordings. More info in the links posted by Ron.
Does the imagecache folder ever clear itself out? I just checked my C:\ Drive and there are images from recordings that I deleted months ago. The folder is located in: C:\ProgramData\MPExtended\Cache\imagecache
