you need to change the compatibility assembly in your plugin code to e.g. [assembly: CompatibleVersion("184.108.40.206", "220.127.116.11")]
That means it`s only compatible to MP 1.6.

You need to set the compatibility to "18.104.22.168" instead of "22.214.171.124644" for MP 1.4.
the Avalon installer install v3.0.9.000 of FanartHandler (only if an older version is installed). From the logs it seems like an issue in FanartHandler.

The 'old' code uses the the width/height from the default button definition in references.xml.
These are SkinSettings properties. That works if you set a <define> in the plugin xml.
It`s better to use style definitions. The values can be changed in references.xml instead of the plugin...
I think best is to make a new style definition in references for the details buttons.
That`s because you don`t have MovingPictures installed. You have to call the editor via 'TitanEdit.exe' outside MP config. There is a shortcut on the desktop. The exe is located in MP base dir (e.g. c:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal)
Default entries should be there. Do you have a Titan.xml in c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal ? If not, please use this default one:
