The problem is probably the renaming, which I was trying to avoid. I use the following method:
Filename - (IMDB number) (quality) ex.:Terminator 2 - Judgment day (tt0103064) (REMUX)
This works perfectly in MP, and the movies also get recognised correctly in Kodi via the NFO. I was just hoping...
I am currently making the transition from MP to Kodi, and this plug-in seems the best (only?) alternative to manually renaming everything to fit to Kodi's naming conventions. Everything seems to work, movie-info, fanart and covers get exported, but only the movie info is recognised automatically...
Thanks for a cool piece of software!
I have made my way through this thread but can't seem to find anything that describes my issue:
When pressing 'music' only the albums stored locally in the normal music-folder on the pc shows up, not the music on my server.
Well, you tried! As mentioned earlier, it's most likely a local issue with my system, otherwise you would have been flooded with HEEEELP mails by now :-)
I'll keep at it and let you know if I figure it out - I have a feeling that when I do, it'll be a 'duh!' rather than a 'heureka' moment!
Same story whether I open MPTT from a desktop shortcut, directly from the folder or via the explorer context menu - same error.
"Try to set a Path to C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MPTagThat\bin\Bass
and put that in front of all your pathes." Not quite sure what you mean...?
both are v.126.96.36.199 and dated 30/11-2010
bass.dll is located at C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MPTagThat\bin\Bass
bass.net is located at C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MPTagThat\bin\
- I assume this is correct?
Still no luck :-(
Tried both changes on the same install, and separately and together on a fresh install (both V. 2.00.3960.40336)
The only change to my system was the MP upgrade but if the two programs use separate BASS engines, the two shouldn't be connected but it's the only obvious...
When I start MPTT I get an error message saying: Incorrect BASS.DLL version 2.4 required"
Since I just updated to MP 1.2, I assume that's what's causing it, or?
Oh, and thanks for an extremely useful tool!!:thx:
Yeah, I noticed, and since I'm moving in a week, I'll be spending a fair amount of time at Bauhaus, Hornbach etc.... :o Will keep a lookout to see if there is any price difference etc. and keep you posted. I'll drop you a PM so don't we clutter up this thread more than we already have! If...
Freudian mouse-click? :D
Normally shipping costs from Sweden are pretty reasonable (unlike from Denmark for some obscure reason!), so I think the 4€ are realistic.
On a side note: has anyone actually got this working under MP in HD resolution yet??
Jonas: Tak for tippet med makeMKV!! så kan jeg få rippet Matador (og en masse andet) nemt og uden kvalitets-kompromisser. Årets julegave :-)
Thanks for the MakeMKV tip - works like a charm so far. I agree on the quality issues; lossless, or as close as you can get, is the way to go. Once...
If any of you are using this with the BleazleWide skin, Bleazle has made a hover image to fit.
I've atached the XML I currently use for my 1360x768 monitor, the green button overlay and the hover image.
This should make it fairly easy to make it work.
Thanks! Yeah, it's kind of a zen-exercise.... :wtf:
I've managed to make it work pretty well, though. I've posted the XML I use to make it work for me, if there's anyone out there that's interested.
Thanks for taking time to do this - apart from the skin looking very good, it's also your...
Figured it out. The XML goes here (at least in Vista, and if you've chosen the default install directory): C:\ProgramData\team mediaportal\mediaportal.
The icons goes to: C:\ProgramData\team mediaportal\mediaportal\thumbs
Again, all according to how you installed MediaPortal, and your OS etc...
Starting config as admin did the trick. It wouldn't have occurred to me to try that - all other plugins can be configured without issues by opening configuration normally.
Ah well, as long as it works :-)
Great plugin! One issue: How do I get rid of sites I don't want?? Logic would dictate that they should simply be un-selected or deleted in MP-setup, and then the setup should be saved. Neither option works - the sites are still present when I start up MP...
Both plugin and MP are the latest...
MyDailyComics is one of those plugins that are a very nice idea, but requires substantial modding to work properly...
I've copied the skin XML so you can what's going on.
Hope it helps!
