Synopsis::

No skin appears when starting Mediaportal. The window and menu bar are there but no skin what so ever is coming on screen since i update with a clean reinstall from rc4 to final version of MP. In the windows taskbar Mediaportal really wants attention and it flickers very fast continuesly.

my log gives a whole lot of exceptions and errors i think it's something with DirectX but i dont know how to solve the problem.

    Do you get the same errors with the MCE or BlueTwo skins that are supplied with the install package?

    Looks like you have a problem with "TVSeriesDatabase3.db3" too - suggest you delete (or rename) this file and allow MediaPortal to recreate it?

    same problem with the other skins i tried them all. I now went back to the RC4 version and there the problem doesnt exist.

    Renaming the Database didnt help either. But i will check on that option some more later on. For now first some sleep. it's 3.39 at night here...

    Disable your MyTVSeries plugin. It seems to be incompatible to 0.2 (or the SQLite version we use now). Maybe you should contact the developer of that plugin to get an updated version.

    Also be sure to search for the correct filename of that DB "TVSeriesDatabase3.db3" (not TVDatabaseV21.db3!!!) and delete/rename it.
