I have already delete the packedgfx2.bxml as well as the packedgfx20.png and packedgfx21.png

GDI i believe means Graphical Drawing Interface.

Also are you running WMP9/10/11 update to latest and see if that helps.

Trouble with the transparent window it seems to be something directX spits out so might be worth running dxdiag as well just to make sure windows has nothing corrupted.
Also .net can also corrupt causing error.

    Sorry cannot be more exact

    Regards

    ooops

    Hi,

seems to be the same problem. i have install .net 2, direct X 9 ( last one), graphical driver, update WMP from 9 to Last 10 BUT Nothing change.

Have you another hint for me.

Just to inform, if i cut the "blue two" skin directory and i paste the "blue two" skin directory of the 0.2.0.0 RC4, everything work.

this can be a beguining of a solution for developper ???

What are you thinking about all this.

    :D a lot

If you using a 6600GT why does your tray have an Ati logo (trying to make sure you didnt just swap g-cards around without properly unistalling/reinstalling)

Well, as you can see in the other thread an XP-reinstall helped that guy... Might be a last resort for you as well? Usually those problems are caused by some weird system stuff... Could be broken fonts or some other things.
It's just very strange that using an old skin helps... Doesn't really make sense.
