[0.2] Fails to restart TV tuner after returning from suspend (1 Viewer)

Synopsis::

I just installed Release 0.2 and tested something that has happened to me from time to time: The tuner fails to restart TV (and thus sometimes fails to record). I can't find it as an open bug in Mantis.

The pastebin seems not to work right now, I will upload the Mediaportal.log there when I can.

I have done more testing, upgraded to the latest Twinhan drivers (1.2.3.8). It still doesn't work for the Twinhan card...

Below is a log event after resuming from Suspend. I watched Kanal 5 before suspend and after it wasn't shown. But if I understood the logs it should have? Or?

I updated to the latest SVN.

What I am trying to figure out is wheter this is a hardware, XP or MP problem.

I just did new tests and pasted them to the pastebin.

I first tuned to TV 4 fakta (scrambled) and then I pressed suspend on the MCE remote. After I tried TV 4 Fakta but it didn't show any picture then I tried TV 4 Ã–st LinkÃ¶ping and that worked. I shutdown MP and started it again (log below).

I tuned to TV 4 Fakta and it worked, pressed suspend, after I
couldnt see TV4 Fakta or Tv4 Ã–st LinkÃ¶ping.

Needless to say I havbe also tried suspend via Powerscheduler with the same result...ie no recordings (but that is in Mantis from what I understand)

Help! This is driving me nuts...

Nope that did not help me. I have reinstalled (twice just to make sure) with the same results. I can watch a scrambled channel before suspend but after I get no picture. If I restart MP I get picture again...

Hi,

I have a similar problem after resuming from standby with my hauppauge nova card running on a shuttle AMD barebone.
I get following errors in the message box after switching to tv back (in German):
a) Timeshift konnte nicht aktiviert werden
failed connect mpeg2 demuxer to mpeg2 analyzer
b) Timeshift konnte nicht aktiviert werden
Unable to add StreamBuffer sink filter

Is this only for scrambled channels?

In my case I can only reproduce the problem with the scrambled channels, ie it appears MP looses contact with the CI after the suspend.
