I'm trying to play the DVD Robbie Williams - What we did last summer, but all I see is the logo intro movie. When the DVD menu is supposed to show, all i get is a black screen and no sound.

After this all has halted. I can press B/ESC to go back to the menu but I can't view the DVD. It plays just fine 1 minute later in WinDVD.

I have tried various DVD settings and codecs, but nothing helps???

I bet your DVD is CSS protected. You either need a software to work around the protection on the fly (An**VD, if your country allows such or if you just don't care) or use a commercial codec that is CSS licensed.

well, I didn't test in 0.2.0 but this is an issue since a while and I have it as well in RC4 (currently I have to use an external player :cry: ). There is an open error in the Bugreports Forum for RC4 as well.

I didn't see in any forum that this issue would have been solved menwhile (can be my fault for sure!)

wewe, I think that refers to another issue. He's using DScaler as codec and DScaler does not decrypt CSS. And as that Robbie DVD is protected for sure, he's got that problem.

I also have problems related to this.
If i playback a dvd with MPV decoder i sometimes have no picture in the menu and movie. The intro of the movie company plays perfect.
If i watch the same dvd with the Cyberlink decoder the picture is perfect, the black of the picture is more black than any other decoder. But the OSD isn't working with Cyberlink.
I see it flikkering but can't read it. I really like the Cyberlink decoder but its difficult to watch a movie without the OSD.
