0.65 + nfo-scanner (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have just come back from holiday and updated moving pics to v0.6.5. As before I've prioritize ofdb.de for movie details. But with the latest version of moving pics the nfo-scanner doesn't work anymore when imdb.com isn't first priority

Hi Roxor, sorry I think this is a question for armandp. He is asleep right now but I have left a message with him to take a look at the issue as he developed both the NFO scanner and the OFDb provider.

In general though the interface we use to access OFDb allows a lookup by IMDb so I suspect either their is a problem with the web service we utilize or with our code itself. So I think check back here tomorrow? Sorry for the delay...

Could anybody point the german useres of the plugin to the right direction? - Where is the problem?
The Scraper-Script, the plugin itself or what?

i was looking at that one as well, but thought this problem also includes the nfo scanner... It's not just the scraper that's causing issues. (if i read Roxor's post correctly..)
Also have a look at issue 277 though, this could help as well.

ok sorry for my late response on this but i'm looking into this NOW I don't see what the NFO scanner has to do with OFDB.. the NFO scanner just grabs an IMDB id from a local text based file and uses that in a signature that can be used by the data provider/script.. the OFDB script uses a gateway (n4rf network » Björn Böttcher OFDB XML Gateway / Schnittstelle) that should be able to use the imdb id to perform a lookup.

Also.. can you supply me with a movingpictures.log where you experienced the issue?

edit: i found the problem it's in the scraper script.

edit (2): i attached the new ofdb script were this issue should be fixed, please report back if it still fails.
