FFDShow video decoder has A/V sync problems when used for MPEG-2 live and recorded TV i.e. there is an incompatibility with TsReader.ax operation.
FFDShow video decoder only uses sample timestamps from the splitter at start-of-play or when a discontinuity is flagged - this is incompatible with the 'slow-motion' A/V sync correction TsReader uses. Also TS packet discontinuity information is not passed through to the video output pin for MPEG-2 streams (but is for H.264).
