Synopsis: exception in creating Dshow Graph while playing MPG

Just tried to play MPG movied (don't have a lot) and MP hangs. Log file sniplet (below) shows that Dshow graph creation fails, both with VMR7 and VMR9 - Windowless
Same in old 1.2.0 installation

Usually CVS bugs arent taken in the forums but also if your using the latest cvs then it should be 0200 not 0130 with the cvs installed over the top.

What I meant was the latest 1.3.0 CVS available.
I don't want to move up to 2.0 yet as it is still too unstable.
However, note that this happens in release 1.2 and release 1.3 as well.

MPEG movie playback not working [1.03]

Can anyone verify this? Any ideas on resolving it?

I don't believe this will get fixed in the 0.1.3 code base, the developers are working hard on the 0.2.0 code. You say that you don't want to move to 0.2 due to unstable but have you tried it?

[2.0 latest CSV]exception while playing MPG movie

Can now confirm that this happens in 2.0 as well.
Both ffmpeg and Intervideo drivers in both VRM7 and 9

Looking at that log it says it creating an error in VMR7. You said overlay has the same problem? Its possibly switching back to VMR7 because your card does not support VMR9.

Is the file in Mpeg1 or Mpeg2 format?

movie is mpeg2. Just discovered the ffdshow configuration for audio and have tried all three settings for mpeg2, still no success.
