And again the Update Instaleller killed my MP Installation.
Before everything was fine, excpt the Message that the OS is not supported. After the installation of 1.1.3 Mp tells me that TV Server is still 1.1.2 and update is not possible because there it sais that everything is up to date.
The same error occured to me some Months ago.

At least I'm not the only one.

I found the log of the installer, but I'm not to shure if it's from after the update or after a new install.

Maybe this can be of some help.

I have extracted and copied the following two files from MediaPortalSetup_1.1.3.exe.

    package-mediaportal.exe
    package-tvengine.exe

After running 'package-tvengine.exe' again everything worked as before.

In my case the first installation failed, for whatever reason, and I ended up with a mixed 1.1.3 (mediaportal) and 1.1.2 (tvengine) non-working setup.

Seems to work and keep the settings, eventhough I had to install also package-mediaportal.exe.

I had a similar issue with previous ugrades, but then I noticed that TVService was not properly stopped and I suppose that was the cause of the problem.
In my case, the service did not stopped because I modified the service to keep running when it stops. So since then I manually stops the service and then upgrade MP without this issue. See more info on: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...nt-work-properly-87484/index2.html#post665891.
Just check if you have modified the TVservice as I did.

Edit: By the way, I have just noticed that my recently updated WebEPG xml files had been deleted when ugrading and original ones restored.
In addition, the xml file with my modified TunningParameters was also deleted.
