1.1 beta client problem with audio codec? (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.1 beta
Windows Version: xp pro 32bit
MPEG2 Audio Codec: have loads installed

hi, just did a fresh 1.1 beta install. the tv server works fine locally but remote clients give unhelpful error of "Audio Codec: " (note the missing info). anyone seen this?

tried 2 or 3 various audio codecs (nvidia/mpc/etc)

also seen the client complain about not being able to connect on port 0.. wierd, cos config asks for hostname not port. should i type a port in like masterpc:1234 ?

Most likely nothing to do with the audio codec (I think that error message is fixed already in later SVN revisions). Please post the full logs.

ps. I remember that there was some "port 0" error at some point in the SVN life cycle.

no, only same revision of client and server will work together.
