--- INSTALLATION

1: Delete the old "Black & White 1080" skin folder (Remember to take a backup of you backdrops, fanart and other customized files!)
C:\Program FilesTeam MediaPortalMediaPortalskinBlack & White 1080

2: Deleted all files and folders in your cache folder
C:\ProgramDataTeam MediaPortalMediaPortalCache

3: Copy "Black & White 1080" to the skin folder
C:\Program FilesTeam MediaPortalMediaPortalskin

4: Import TVSeries.formatRules in TV Series if you're using this plugin.

Directories might differ from your OS and language.

This skin is made with a 1920x1080 resolution. Rescaling is to other resolution might distort it.

Installing plugins

When installing new plugins it is important that you don't overwrite any of the skin files.

The skin package contains XML files for all supported plugins.

MPIs: Deselect Black & White 1080 in the skin window.
Others: Disregard any instruction telling you to copy files to the “C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Black & White 1080” folder.

Generic skin files will most likely not work since they’re usually made for another resolution than 1920x1080 which in the “Black & White 1080”s native resolution.

Can I make 2 suggestions?

1. It would be really nice to see date/time for the TV recordings. Especially if you record a series you know the correct order without starting the video.
2. TV Home: the name of the channel above the EPG title of the current program. Not so important but nice to have. Tried it myself but couldn't do it...
