    Don't now if it's a bug.
    To reproduce :
When using 2 cards for recording tv
    1) select a channel, record it
    2) Switch to another channel then wait a bit time.
    3) Switch back to the recording channel, the timeline is set to the beginning of the record, so that you have to go to the end to see the movie progress ( in case you record it manullay and want to know when you must stop ,for ex )

    - This occurs each time you come back to the recording channel from another

With this comes sometimes a 'no signal' issue.

I think it is a bug - a very similar issue has just been logged in Mantis...

I can confirm that I have the same problem.

Thanks for this info, i followed the link to this log :
It's seems to be the very same bug, wich is certainly more frequent with 2 cards, because switching between the cards must be like re-entering MyTV.

    damn..

I wish this wasn't fixed, I enjoyed it much more the other way.

Say when you have a fotty game programmed for recording, and you come home 15 minutes into the game, you want to start watching at the beginning, not com in and see the score and have to rewind back to the start.....

    Just my .2

    Understanding your opinion...
You may will consider this case :
You started a manual recording on channel x, then switch to channel y to see another tv program. Now channel y has ads or you just want to see if the program you are recording has finished, so you switch back to channel x.
Before the fix : You are taken to the recording start, and have to jump to the end to see where you are in your tv prog. The most important issue there is that your HDD head has to jump to the recorded file start while it's still recording at the end of it. This often causes stuttering on the current recorded frames, especially if you have been recording for a long time.
I guess there won't be any request to "un-fix" this bug anyway ;)

I see your point and I have a suggestion for solution:

Every recording should be listed in "recorded tv" even though it's not finished recording yet. That way you could go in real time if you start "My TV", or from the beginning if you go straight to "recorded tv" and choose to view it from there.

    Hi,
If you go in to "Scheduled" you can decide to watch from start or watch from current live point.
