1) How are you all adding new videos? After you add a new video, do you re-scan the entire folder that contains your movie or are you able to scan only the new videos added?

2) Is there a plugin or built in feature that allows me to see the time remaining on a video in MediaPortal? If you have an entire Season, it is difficult to keep track of which episode you last watched.

Check out movingpictures plugin for movies it scan automatically and has many more features than the defult videos

There are watched and unwatched flags by the episode listing and to get a time left just pause it. Also if you stop a video when the same video is started again it will ask if you want to start from where you left off.

Thanks ryan. I didn't notice the blue font under the video that was last watched.

One question, is there "folder" inheritance in MediaPortal? Meaning, if I set a parent video folder to "Icon", it will propagate down to the sub folders?
