1. I have the movie "Hero" :
Hero (2002) - IMDb
I manually changed the name of the movie in the configuration from the original name "Ying Xiong" to "Hero".
But in the list of movies in MediaPortal - the strangest thing - the movie is named Hero like I wanted but it's the last one in the list of movies, meaning it was sorted according to the name "Ying Xiong" and not according to the displayed name - "Hero".

2. Perhaps this has something to do with #1, but whenever I delete a movie via the MediaPortal GUI, the movie is not removed from the list. It seems like a different movie is removed from the list (one before or one after). If I leave the Moving Pictures plugin and then re-enter then I see the correct list (meaning the correct movie was removed from the DB but the incorrect movie was initially removed from the list of items).

I can never tell if my problems are related to the plugin or to the skin (using StreamedMP), so let me know if I'm in the wrong forum here...

    Y.

    1. There are two fields, title and sortby. It looks like you did not rename the sortby field correctly which explains why the movie still got sorted under the 'Y'.

    2. That should not happen, so switch to debug mode, recreate the scenario as short as possible and post your log files. Without them the developers will not know what is going on, so they can not fix a problem (assuming there is one).

    3. The plugin comes with Blue3 and Blue3Wide skins by default, so if you suspect a skin issue, simply switch to any of those and repeat the problem. If the problem goes away then it is a skin issue and you should report it on the forum section belonging to that skin, but if it repeats itself, then by all means post a ticket. Infact if you can consistenty repeat the problem and you are running the latest stable release of MovingPictures, you should directly post your bug on the Google Code tracker, because that is the #1 place the developers monitor for problems.
