$20 To first person to help me setup blaster (1 Viewer)

Due to the overwhelming response of my last post, I will send $20 paypal to anyone who can help me get my set top box / blaster working. What do I need to install? I currently have the IR Server Suite installed, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to get everything working. I have searched the forums and wiki and still nothing of any help. I am getting ready to throw my HTPC out the window. I did manage to figure out the Schedules Direct plugin and it seems to be working perfectly.

Version of TVServer?
Version of IRSS?
Blaster type?
Also fill out you system specs please.

In the mean time, some description of my setup:
MP & TVS v1.0.0 with SVN21864
IRSS v1.4.2 build 2627
In TVServer Confic enable TV3Blaster plugin
TV3Blaster plugin config - STB (set top box) setup
Can you successfully use the TEST button there?

In MP Configuration
disable any remote in the remotes section
enable plugin mp control plugin for irss

Attach full log files when you return with your answers and problem description.

Hey guys, thanks so much for replying. I think I have figured some of it out. I came to the conclusion that I had to map all of my channels to channel 3 on my analog card, which I have done. When I go into STB config I can successfully use the test button, it does change the channel on my STB. However, occasionally I have to go into the IR Server Input Service Config and click a few buttons to make the test function work. When I actually go into MP it does not change the channels though. I have been trying some different things, but I am still sort of lost. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I will surely donate to MP if I get this thing working. It looks like it will solve my need for a way to stream to the other rooms in my house, where Beyond tv would not do consistently.

I am currently using:

MP 1.0
MP Server 1.0
IR Server Suite 1.0.4.1
I am unsure of the blaster I am using, but It is most likely a standard microsoft blaster, It came with my PC case(NMEDIAPC)

Version 1.0.4.1 have a know problem and require a separate blaster fix to be installed. Did you do that?
The fix is also available in the first post of the IRSS thread.

If you are still using V1.0.4.1, please install the following 2 patches.
You must disable the input service (start menu, run, services.msc, find the input server and stop it) before you can update the files.

Rekenaar, I finally have everything working. When I installed those two patches I was then able to blast to my STB. I then realized that I should be using my S-Video input on my card, and so I remapped everything and all is OK. MP is also streaming quite consistently so far. When I first started using the client MP, it would not change channels on the server, but I went ahead and installed IR Server Suite on the client machine, along with the patches, and now I can change the channels with the client. Many thanks to you and the Media Portal team. My donation has been sent.
