.264 playback settings and stupid me (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

Just done a stupid thing and updated to the new(ish) release of mediaportal but forgot to take screenshots of my settings.

Can anyone point me to somewhere where i can get info on the correct settings for .264 playback on XP with NVIDIA 8500GT, as now i just get a nice black screen

To playback h264 or x264, I use ffdshow tryouts codec and Haali Matroska Splitter. Those, along with nVidia PureVideo for DVD playback are the only thing my MP have installed and I can play every thing the Internet can offer me right now!

cheers, it would appear that when i re-installed media portal, powerDVD decoder became the default and that was knackering everything up. Seems to be working fine now.
