I think its still early days but has anyone looked into how we deal with 3D TV.
In Australia we have just had a new channel added that is a 3D channel.
When viewed with mediaportal (and my non-3D TV) it shows the two panes on the window with (almost) identical images.
From what I have researched the 3D TV would show only one image at a time and alternate between them.
Obviously I would need some ingenious way of creating some glasses that would syncronise with the flips.
Anyone got any interest in hacking up a method of using this
Would all this be done on a codec layer or purhaps a plugin layer that would grab the image, chop it in half then switch between them?
I am keen to see if I can code something up. Any thoughts tips appreciated.
Regards
