Hi guys, Since showing times are subjective to changes I do not schedule them more the 1 day upfront. Because of this, it happened more then once that certain programs have been missed in the past. I have read some 4TR threads, also checked the website and the installation guide but I cannot find certain information or it's not clear. Am I correct that 4TR is the solution to the problem described above? To not break my setup and/or install things that I don't need, I have a few question regarding the installation. These options are presented during installation of the latest version (1.6.0.2): I) Server - (1) Core Services, (2) Web Access, (3) IM-Bot Service: Of course (1) is needed, the rest explains itself II) Recorder/Tuners - (1) For The Record 'Argus', (2) MediaPortal TV Server: do I need any of this? III) GUI Clients - (1) Management Console, (2) Recorder/Tuner 'Argus' Management Console, (3) MediaPortal Plugin, (4) Server Status Notifier: is (1) the typical/easiest way to set up rules by using a keyboard/mouse? Is (3) overriding the MP EPG or how do I have to see this? 4TR uses a database, is this completely separated from the MP TV server database? If yes, anything important on setting this up, is MySQL the best way to go? Thanks a lot in advance! P.
