Hi all from New Zealand! I'm a newbie to MediaPortal and I've got a "how do I start to troubleshoot this?" type question. I'm running a TVServer under the stairs as a basic PVR which I then share the resulting files via DLNA to my Samsung TV. Everything works as it should. I'm getting EPG, I'm recording, I'm watching recorded TV. Everything looks right. But. With no obvious pattern, up to 50% of recordings have audio errors at the start of the file. The Samsung TV just says "Audio Codec Error" and plays only the video stream. If I play the same file on a Windows PC, the first 10 seconds of audio certainly has issues (blips and farts a bit) then settles down. So the PC recovers from this, but the Samsung TV does not. Like I mentioned, this is on up to half of recordings - the rest are perfectly fine and I can't find a pattern as to the cause. My TV server is a dual core 3.16GHz machine with 8GB of RAM running Win7 64bit SP1 - (fresh build). I'm running a brand new install of MediaPortal 1.2.2. I've got a Hauppauge Nova T 500 dual tuner DVB-T card doing the work. Everything is running the latest drivers and so on. How should I start troubleshooting this one? Any pointers? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
