There are nine MUXes that serve the area where I live, but only three of them are DVB-T2, and two of those are temporary (until the frequencies are needed for mobile telephony). The other six MUXes are DVB-T. Since DVB-T2 is a more-efficient coding system, the plan is to convert to DVB-T2 eventually, but there is no timetable for this. Disappointingly, some of the DVB-T2 capacity is used to broadcast SD channels  , and I suspect that this will continue when the terrestrial system is entirely DVB-T2. It is caused (I think) by the minor channels having barely-adequate income (from advertising), and not being able to afford the higher carriage charges for HD bandwidth, so they broadcast in SD instead. :( The MUXes are divided into three power groups -- 200 kWatt, 50 kWatt, and 20 kWatt. My TBS can receive the 200 and 50 kWatt groups without problem, but pixelates on the 20 kWatt group. My Pinnacle can receive the 200 kWatt group, but neither of the 50 or 20 kWatt groups is receivable. Both tuners are fed from the same aerial. I have downloaded the revised DLL and will test it when the HTPC is available (it may have to be tomorrow :(). -- from CyberSimian in the UK
