Everyone seems to swear with 24hz playback on MKV files and i gave it a shot but 60hz seems to be the best option for me. When i use CCC profiles within MP to adjust the refreshrate to 24hz then i get unwatchable stutters every 2 seconds, speech not in sync.

Anyone have an idea why 60hz works perfect with me? On paper 24hz should work better.

Edit: I see maybe this thread is better in the Mediaportal 1 general talk, if a mod would be so kind :)

To my understanding, MKV is just a Container wich can contain video, sound en subtitles. The video part wich is inside the container can be all kinds of resolutions en FPS. Are you sure that the videofile wich is inside the MKV container that you are trying to watch has 24 fps?
