2. My TV Tuner card doesn't get recognised by MediaPortal, its a Jetway TV Capture Card
3. How do I get MediaPortal to browse media files on a remote computer on my LAN?

2) is it on the supported cards list ? what kind of card is it ? Analogue, DVB-T/S/C, ATSC ????

3) add the path of the files in the appropriate section in the configuration.

my TV card is a Analog TV Capture Card:
