Okay i'm still a bit of a n00b with MP when it comes to the more complicated things.

I would appreciate some people answering these questions I have:

firstly, whats the TV Engine v3 and TV Server? are they the same things? i thought the TV Engine version 3 is in the 0.2.1 release and has support for software encoding cards, but my software encoding card which works on 0.3 but not 0.2 still isn't detected. So then whats the TV Server and how do i use it?

Secondly, when i music cds and go to the now playing screen, it says no information available, which is fair enough i understand why, but how do i add information or get it to download the info like you can in WMP10/11?

Thanks :)

TV Engine v3 is the new TV engine being developed. It uses a client - server approach with a server handling all the recordings. That server is the TV server. TV Engine v3 is not included in MP 0.2.1.0, you have to download it if you want to use it. Link is on MP home page, top right corner.

For the music question, have you scanned your music into the music database? Go into configuration.exe -> music, somewhere in there you'll find a Scan button. I think that'll help.
