A little help with EPG and changing channels please (1 Viewer)

Can anyone point me in the right direction with this, I have searched the forums but cant seem to find exactly what I need.

Basicly I have setup mediaportal and using WEBEPG i have succesfully downloaded all the epg info for the channels I require. Now this is where I get stuck, I am basicly connecting to a dbox2 via composite input to mediaportal what I am struggling to get working is when I select a channel in the EPG it will change the channel on the dbox.

I have succesfully configured the replacement plugin to send data to the dbox2 and can manualy get it to change channels.

Anyone gotr any advice on this

Hi,

No pain, we all went through it

If I understand correctly you want to set your channel(s) to "external".
In the MP configuration.exe goto Television->TV Channels in the tree, then
on the TV channels tab, select a channel and click edit.
Once the new edit window opens, goto the External tab.
Select Received by External Settop box, then the input source,
and the STB channel number.
