I made a new home screen for the wiki because I found the old one not very user friendly.

To many double items
Too many items new users have NO idea what the mean

I reorganized the structure based on topic so it's more clear what information is located where.

I just had a brief look and it is a major improvement
That should be the first stop for a person new to MP and/or HTPCs. It should be a major/obvious link on the MP home page so that newbies can see it when they first visit the MP site.

the layout looks nice, but imo it has now got way too long.
and the info is not grouped correctly yet.

we had exactly that look before the wiki started to grow.
the reason why we allinged it in a table with 2 contend and 2 description rows is simply because it is not wise to have a long index page where the user has to scroll much

the new wiki-index does not look good imo.

its totaly unclear and the structure is wrong.

please create a finished version of your new concept on home2 page, which can be reviewed and discussed before it gets live.
