A really REALLY easy to use skin? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

I'm having a go at making my own skin - because the rest of my family just cannot seem to get the hang of using a media player. For example even the default mediaportal skin - they only "see" the choices on the screen, and do not get you can keep scrolling down through the choices.

Is there any skin that is unbelievably easy to use -- no need for plugins, just a very simple all options on screen, no hidden menus or choices. -- like the type of design you would see on SKY or a freeview box.

I've tried a few, but im sure there are people out there who have tried more -- and any advice would be great.

Try the basic home screen, no scrolling needed there. Or you need to show them the advantage of learning to handle the menu? Sorry, dont think there is a more simple skin then the one that comes with mp.

Yeah, i kind of feel the same way -- the home screen is great, but once you go further in the design - changing layouts etc, if there was a theme with none of them options it would be perfect for them. I think i'll just use the skin editor and take them all out.
