A/V keeps going out of sync when watching TV (1 Viewer)

I've just set up the HTPC on my Plasma TV and for some reason when I change channel, the audio goes out of sync with the video and I have to turn TV off in MP and back on again. Funny thing is though, if I've got timeshifting enabled and change channels, it's fine. What gives?
