in my remote i dont have different keys for play and pause ( it is the same key ). so i want to add to the message plugin a pause/play button ( because i am using eventghost wich is using the message plugin to control media portal). anyone has any idea??
I'm not sure you need to add this to the message plug-in. I guess you would have to have Eventghost to generate a spacebar keystroke on the event of the play/pause button on remote.
I use HIP (rather than Eventghost) and do that for the number 1 key to be able to cancel the screen saver.

yes but then it will work only if mediaportal is in focus.

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback.
Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)

Just upgraded to 1.37 'Willow'.....and although TV is fine.....I'm unable to play video.
Error message points to Mpeg4IsoAvc or...
