access streams with VLC or WMP (1 Viewer)

He guys, i know it is to early to ask this kind of questions, but i'm doing it anyway. The devs are to busy coding to answer my question, my hope is someone else knows the answer.

Is it possible to access the streams from the TvServer by VLC or WMP. I mean if i watching TV upstairs, is it then possible to view that same stream downstair on my laptop? and if possible how?

I don't have to switch channels or something, it is just for checking what the kids and/or my wife are watching

My laptop is not capable to run mediaportal because of his videocard.

But i',m here to answer my own question.

That's the answer. I pulled it out of the log file from the pc upstairs.

It is working, a big sync issue anyway, but it testing so nothing you can do.

The strange thing is; The server is probably making a TS buffer, and when you access the stream it always start playing from the beginning (which can be some minutes ago) I couldn't find the settings for the TS buffer at the server, so this is probably not yet fully done. Or am i blind (it is not the first time).

Anyway, thumbs up, this is some kick ass feature.
