Summary:
Hi! I would like to mix playlists and/or folders to evenly disburse several tv shows or music artists into a new playlist.
Description:
This could one day be some kind of scheduling system like a TV network might use.
But all I want is a primitive functionality, as I will now describe.
O.K. With this improvement a user would be able to 1st open a new blank playlist, and
2nd, one could add other previously created playlists A, B, C and/or drop the containing folders for each D, E.
Finally, a click of the new button _, intersperses the shows or songs together as I will soon demonstrate.
Then i guess you have to hit play but happily, thats already a feature (THANK YOU)
Folders or Playists
A. X Files Seasons 1 to 9
B. Babylon 5 Complete
C. ST DS9
D. The Lone Gunmen All
E. Looney tunes collection disc 1
The resulting playlist would look like this:
-A XFiles Season 1 Ep 1
-B Bab5 s1 e1
-C 1_01
-D Lone Gunmen ep1
-E Duck Dodgers in the 24th 1/2 Century
-A XFiles Season 1 Ep 2
-B Bab5 s1 e2
-C 1_02
-D Lone Gunmen ep2
-E Little Red Riding Rabbit
A XFiles Season 1 Ep 3
and so on.
Furthermore a random dispersal button that makes the following pattern might be even more desireable:

-C 2_24
-D Lone Gunmen ep11
-E Bad Ol Putty Tat
-A XFiles Season 9 Ep 13
-B Bab5 s2 e22

I think this would be a great feature. I watch my library of shows from DVD more than TV.
I want to watch different shows, not marathons, but I don't want to jump around in the story arcs.
Think about how great it would be to rotate through your music playlists! A partymix, B Reagae classics, C Ween, D zeppelin. I will donate in the name of this improvement!
