Add RSS feeds doesn't work (1 Viewer)

i don't understand why feeds doesn't work.

When i try to add simply feed like this :
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?orderby=published&author=SquareEnixFrance

No videos found.

Even with dailymotion feed.

Same when i reinstall plugin or manipulate/delete onlinevideos.xml

Sometimes default youtube folder doesn't work !

Onlinevideos really had strange behavior on 3 differents computers !

If the items of the rss feed don't link directly to the video, but rather a html page, that page needs to be scraped for the actual file links. So you'll have to find a regular expression for it, depending on how good the website it trying to hide the url of the file even write a c# siteutil.

When i replace util="GenericSite" by util="Youtube" in a default onlinevideos.xml it's ok


eh very strange it's not supposed to work on clean install?

that's right because http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?orderby=published&author=SquareEnixFrance is a youtube feed...

There is a conflict between GUI config and onlinevideos.xml

First i have only this choice for a web site in gui config : downloadedvideo, favorites , script, genericsite .

And gui config always replace util="Youtube" by util="GenericSite" in onlinevideos.xml and so doesn't work...

If these are your only choices for a util, something went wrong loading the additional site dlls. Don't save or exit the config pressing OK, it will break your xml. Delete the xml to get a default one afterwards. For more help we needs logs.

try to do this thing: open mediaportal - online videos
on the left menu select manage sites
search for a site with youtube in the name press ok and ok

this will probably install the youtube util

so u can use it in configuration....

remember Amped skin could have not the "manage site" button... use blue 3 skin...

if it doesn't work try to reinstall the plugin. if it doesn't work either try to uninstall and reinstall mediaportal 1.1.0 with the plugin online videos.
if it doesn't work either post the online videos logs and wait ...
