Added a series, why is it not found? (1 Viewer)

Hi I have added This series: The Four Horsemen in TVDB.
Also added DVD cover and episode tumbs, they look nice.

Everything is added, but when I scan for the series it says no series found...
As a test I also added a new 'known' series and '24 series 1 episode 1' was found without problems.
(yes I know I did not have '24'.... my bad!)

The parsed series name of the The Four Horsemen files are correct, what am I doing wrong?

Very strange, I changed the name of the series to 'Discussions with Richard Dawkins' and now it works...
Very weird and I can not delete the 'The Four Horsemen' series...

Hi,

I think what you have is a mirror issue.

The Four Horseman series does NOT exist on the main site: http://www.thetvdb.com
But does exist on http://tvdb.zsori.com

I think the downloads are from the http://www.thetvdb.com which is why it is not found.

Actually if it exists on one it must exist on both they are exactly the same site there is no mirror. (It does exist on both I checked)

I think the problem was that you had some wacky non xml characters in the series description the looked like little uppercase L's. When I entered them here to show you the forum went nuts too. Try now and it should find the series.

It probably takes time to propagate to the main site (or the mirror, however you look at it).

You are not understanding there is no mirror and main site - there is just one site available from two different urls- It's the same server, same account, same files, same database. Nothing can exist on one and not on the other. Anyways it's not a real issue either way.

Yeah we were talking about it but never really got anything implemented. Real life got in the way.
