    Sorry, me again.

I'm not sure if this is not intended or not. Usually I'm only asked once to select which series, when I added a show for the first time. But now every time, I add a new episode for a existing series, I have to select the series it belongs to. Which is a bit annoying, when they are several episodes of different series.

So, is this only me, a bug or a new feature?

Yes, will need a log with MP-TVSeries running in debug logging mode.

Do you have 'Automatically Choose series when exact match is found' enabled?

It should only be asking if the filename parses a different series name...if all your filenames are the same then it should just recognize it as the same series.

    How do I do that?

Do you have 'Automatically Choose series when exact match is found' enabled?

No, I turned it off a long time ago. But I will check, if perhaps somehow it was enabled.

I checked that. The file names didn't change, so that shouldn't be the cause.

I'll let you know when I'm home.

    Actually enabled would be better.

If a match is wrong for whatever reason you can always change it from the menu in the GUI 'Force new online Match', this will always prompt the series select dialog regardless of setting above.

Ok, I'll will try this first. I think it should solve the problem. I'm just surprised, because it was never an issue in the past.

I enabled that option and as expected I wasn't asked to select the series. But the episodes I added don't appear as available. I can't select the episodes and watch them, until I restart mediaportal. I tried changing the intervall from 5 minutes to 1 (Watch my import folders for change automatically), but still no change.

I've uploaded a log, I hope it helps.

Imzadi, your log is empty. The log should also be done while in GUI as this is the testcase your running through above.

Just to state the obvious, are you sure your drives are available?

Having a look at a previous post of yours, I noticed the following

    Code:
27.09.2010 18:50:01 - Import path 'I:\' is not available, ignoring database maintenance on this path until available.
27.09.2010 18:50:01 - Import path 'J:\Serien' is not available, ignoring database maintenance on this path until available.
27.09.2010 18:50:01 - Import path 'K:\' is not available, ignoring database maintenance on this path until available.
27.09.2010 18:50:01 - Import path 'M:\Serien' is not available, ignoring database maintenance on this path until available.
