I am looking to make some additions to the db schema for the tvengine...looking to add support for more fields in the program table to support more information/smarter recording...is there somebody to talk to about doing this or should I just submit patches as change scripts to the db?

Just describe what you want to do before doing unnecessary work - if okay everything goes as full file to sf.net. Without implementation it's unlikely the DB will be changed.
However since TVMovie supports some more fields, too we've already planned to extend the DB.

Well, I was hoping to add additional fields to the Program table, allthough I was thinking about it more and it might serve better in its own table (programmetadata)...The most important field I am looking to support is the first air date of a program, but also I was wondering why other fields are not supported currently, ie. mpaarating, advisories, series, etc...
